THE TRUSTEES OF ANTROBUS HOUSE ARE GETTING READY TO CELEBRATE THE QUEEN’S PLATINUM JUBILEE AND YOU ARE INVITED TO THE PARTY!
Celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee in style with a proms picnic on the attractive rear lawn of Antrobus House. Gather together with family and friends and get set for some good old-fashioned, flag-waving fun. Enjoy live music from our favourite 'Jazz Queen' - the sensational Sandy Ince of Sticky Toffee Jazz and Amesbury Town Band, and sing along and dance away to all those classic British faves we all know and love!
THE EVENT : Not to be missed, a fantastic bring-your-own Platinum Jubilee Picnic Party will be held at Antrobus House on Sunday 5th June with both an afternoon and evening party planned, each lasting 4 hours.
DRESS TO IMPRESS : Guests are encouraged to dress to impress! Either come in 1950s attire or go all out in something red, white and blue!
EVENT INFO - PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING
TICKET PRICES :
- Adults (12+) : £5 +VAT (+ online booking fee)
- Children (aged 3 to 11) : £2 +VAT (+ online booking fee)
- Toddlers and Babies (aged 2 and under) : FREE, but a ticket will be required.
TICKETS : This event is ticket only and MUST be pre-booked in advance online. A small ticket fee is charged to cover our event costs. If demand is high, we may need to limit the number of tickets per person. We will not be able to accommodate large groups, due to limited space.
AFTERNOON PARTY : This will run from 1200 to 1600, with access from 1130 - please do not arrive any earlier.
EVENING PARTY : This is planned to run from 1730-2130, with access from 1700 - please do not arrive any earlier.
REFUNDS : Refunds will only be given if Antrobus House has to cancel the event.
PARKING : There is strictly no parking on site. However, a small number of places will be reserved for blue badge holders, to be booked in advance. Please email [email protected] to reserve a space.
ACCESSIBILITY : Please email [email protected] and tell us if anyone requires wheelchair access. The rear lawn at Antrobus House is uneven in places - please be careful.
TABLES, CHAIRS, PICNIC AREAS : Please bring your own small picnic tables, chairs, blankets. We are unable to provide those for you. The rear lawn at Antrobus House is big but it's not massive. We politely ask that you keep your picnic area "compact" as we have a lot of people to accommodate.
FOOD : Guests should bring their own picnic. We are not supplying any food.
DRINKS : A bar will be available and prices are reasonable. Guests may bring their own soft drinks, but no alcohol may be brought on to the premises.
TOILETS : Antrobus House toilets will be open throughout the day.
NAKED FLAMES : Candles and naked flames are not permitted.
GAZEBOS / PARASOLS : Not permitted - we just don't have the space unfortunately.
SMOKING / VAPING : Strictly no smoking/vaping on the rear lawn - there will be a designated area in the car park that we kindly ask you to use.
DOGS : Assistance dogs only.
WEATHER : The event will go ahead, even if it rains. Please dress suitably come rain or shine.
CHILDREN : Children are most welcome. Please feel free to bring board games or similar to play within your picnic area. Ball games or similar are not permitted. Children must be supervised at all times.
