We know it's never easy saying goodbye to a loved one. We also know that when it comes to celebrating the life of someone you love and deciding where to hold that special celebration, the options that are available to you are somewhat limited.

The funeral service will usually take place either in a church or a crematorium, but sometimes neither of those venues is suitable, available, nor a place that for whatever reason, some will wish to consider. In times of grief, it’s easy to forget there is another option - another choice.

Here at Antrobus House, we can offer a beautiful “home from home”, which is suitable for both the service and the wake and is a relaxing, peaceful and private space where everyone can gather together, pay their respects and say their fond farewell.

We have two smart and stylish, large yet cosy function rooms (each accommodating up to 100 guests for a seated service and up to 150 guests for a standing reception), excellent facilities throughout and extensive grounds in which one can quietly ‘wander, reflect and remember’.

Our close proximity to the A303, means we are easily accessible and with a large private car park, there is plenty of free parking for mourners’ cars.
