WHAT'S ON > CELEBRATE THE KING'S CORONATION AT ANTROBUS HOUSE

You are warmly invited to join us at Antrobus House on Sunday 7th May for a right royal "street-style" picnic party, to celebrate the coronation of King Charles III.
UPDATE : This FREE TICKETED COMMUNITY EVENT is now FULLY BOOKED. However, if you would like to join our waiting list for an INSIDE TICKET in the Edmund Hall, please email [email protected] and we will advise if any tickets become available. Alternatively you may now book an OUTSIDE TICKET, which is weather-permitting. Unless rain is forecast, we can offer you a seat on our rear terrace, adjacent the Edmund Hall. Our pianist will be performing inside the Edmund Hall, and whilst you may not be able to hear the music as well as you would if you were inside the hall, you can still be part of the party! Please note that if rain is forecast, Outside Tickets will automatically be cancelled (24 hours before the event). With regret Outside Tickets cannot be transferred to Inside Tickets.
Taking place inside the Edmund Hall on the ground floor, or possibly outside if the weather is good, Antrobus House will be festooned in a sea of red, white and blue and set up "street-party" style with long banqueting tables and chairs. All you have to do is bring your own picnic, family and friends and we'll provide the venue, the decor and the entertainment. Dress to impress and get set for a right royal knees-up.

- join us on Sunday 7th May from 1pm-5pm
- enjoy live entertainment from Simon Woodley - a superb professional pianist
- see Antrobus House all dressed up in a sea of red, white and blue
- take a closer look at 'The Hauntings' statue on the front lawn, before it leaves us in May
- bring your own picnic (including alcohol if you wish)
- we will be serving hot drinks on the day (cash only)
Whilst this is a FREE event, if you would like to leave a donation to help cover our costs, you may - please bring cash on the day.
Useful info :
- Tickets are required for all guests - this is to ensure we don't overbook. Our capacity is limited.
- Tables and chairs will be laid out banqueting style in long rows. You may be sitting next to someone you don't know but that's all part of the 'street party' fun!
- Seats will be reserved and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. If you are coming with others and want to sit together, it would be helpful if one person books all your tickets. Alternatively just email us with the name of anyone else booking that you would like to sit with - [email protected].
- The Edmund Hall is on the ground floor and fully accessible. We also have an accessible toilet and baby changing facilities. If anyone uses a wheelchair, please book an accessible ticket, as we will factor this in when designing our seating plan and deciding where you will sit.
- We will be serving hot drinks on the day - please bring cash.
- You may bring your own alcohol as part of your picnic - remember to bring your own cups/glasses.
- Ample FREE PARKING on site.
Since this event is taking place indoors, there is no risk of bad weather scuppering our plans!!!
